VOCATION

When I began writing the CONVENT SERIES, I envisioned the three books aligning with the Maiden–Mother–Crone archetype, representing the life stages a woman passes through, as well as the phases of the moon: new beginnings/waxing moon, creator/full moon, and wisdom/waning moon.
CONVENT: Inception embodied birth, new awakenings, the origins of New Orleans in Colonial America, and the present. VOCATION: Invocation represents stepping into these new roles.
As Mac explores what becoming a mother truly means, she is also stepping into a new version of herself—exploring power, creativity, protecting her loved ones, and an evolving emotional maturity that heals wounds from the past. When we nourish the “mother” force—the energy that is compassionate, protective, and supportive—dynamic growth and deep emotional healing can occur. As a result, our vocation, or soul’s calling, emerges and beckons us into this new phase of life.
Mother’s Day falls on 5/10, which carries beautiful symbolism and meaning. The angel number 510 represents fulfilling your soul mission and life purpose, reflecting on your deepest desires, creating your own reality, and having faith in yourself. It’s no coincidence that I chose this day to release VOCATION.
This Sunday, take a moment to embrace the phase of life you are in, listen to your intuition, and step forward with faith. You are the creator of your own destiny—birthing beliefs into reality and healing past patterns of self-limitation.
What will you create in this life?
