Come along on an unforgettable adventure with a very special blue crawfish!

In this playful picture book, our curious little traveler sets off from a quiet rice paddy to explore the wild and wonderful ecosystems of the Gulf Coast. Along the way, the crawfish catches a ride on a brown pelican soaring toward the swamp, meets blue crabs splashing in the brackish water, and even hitches a lift with a friendly alligator headed for the beach. After a visit with a hermit crab collecting seashells by the shore, the tiny explorer takes one final flight with a seagull back home to where the journey began.

Along the way, the little crawfish learns that home is where our roots begin—and being a little different (even a little blue) is something to celebrate.
